Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:1 Peter 1:8
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.1 Timothy 1:17
God is a spirit, and He has a spiritual kingdom. The only way that we are even aware of His kingdom is that He has given us His Word, the Bible. As we read and hear the Word of God, He helps build faith within us to believe in things we cannot see with natural eyes.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:Romans 1:20
God has not left Himself without witness. The creation of the world is speaking loudly that there is a Faithful Creator. All we have to do is lift our voices and call upon Him. He will answer and show us His heavenly kingdom, as revealed by His Son, Jesus Christ.
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.John 1:18
Jesus is the living Word. He entered our realm and became a man, so that He might reveal who His Father is. Jesus said that if we’ve seen Him, we’ve seen the Father. We understand God by the witness of His Son, Jesus. From Jesus we see that God is loving, compassionate, faithful, merciful, hates sin and did all within His power to make a way for mankind to be free from sin.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.John 20:29
God’s kingdom works by faith. We believe the Word of God by the influence of the Holy Spirit, who bears witness of the Truth of Jesus Christ. It’s only by being in a physical world that God can test and prove to see who really loves Him. This world is a proving ground for eternity. If you can just be faithful to God in this life and live by faith, there awaits an eternity of love and goodness with God and Christ. If you don’t see something yet in the natural, don’t worry, you are on the right track! Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen! (Hebrews 11:1) Keep believing what the Word says and God will reward your faith (Hebrews 11:6).
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.2 Corinthians 4:18
God is on the throne in heaven, Jesus Christ at His right hand. Look to the eternal, invisible things that are revealed by the Word of God. Be a heavenly minded person, living by faith and walking out the love of Christ towards God and others. Reveal the invisible God by how you live and act. We, the church of Christ, are His witnesses, alongside the Holy Spirit. As we labor in the Lord, we will reveal the kingdom of God to those who need to see it!
